Mission:

To provide food to meet emergency hunger needs in the South Wood County area.

Services:

SWEPS is an all-volunteer organization supported by the community of churches, organizations, businesses, schools and individuals who care about hungry people.  The food pantry works with North Central Community Action Program (NCCAP) staff which interviews and assesses the needs of potential recipients.   Qualified recipients can obtain food from SWEPS located at First Congregational Church, and the identity of recipients is kept confidential.

Because there will always be a need to feed the hungry and those with hardships, an endowment Build-A-Fund through Community Foundation of South Wood County was recently established by Gene and Elaine Williamson to help support SWEPS.

SWEPS Wish List:

Nonperishable foods

Personal hygiene items
