Mission:

The mission of the Mid-State Technical College Foundation is to promote the college through the development and management of funds to provide student scholarships and grants, and to support the educational programs of the college to encourage life-long learning.

 

Services:

Mid-State Technical College Foundation exists to support students, staff, and educational programs at MSTC.  The non-profit, tax exempt organization was established in 1979 to raise funds to provide assistance to MSTC students who would like to enhance their lives through education and training.

 

As financial need is a primary concern for students, the Foundation’s most important role has been helping students through scholarships.  Thanks to generous donors, an average of 150 scholarships ranging from $200 to $1,500 are provided annually, helping students to achieve their educational goals.

Mid-State Technical College Foundation Wish List:

  • Grants to supplement the additional costs students enrolled in health related programs incur when meeting the requirements set by the health care industry for participation in clinical practicum courses.
  • An ongoing need exists for part-time student scholarships, as the larger percentage of MSTC students enrolled are not considered full time.
  • Scholarships targeted to students enrolling in any of MSTC's three newly approved Renewable Energy programs.
