Mission:

The mission of Rapids Area Soccer, Inc. is to promote the sport of soccer for players of both genders and all ages in Wisconsin Rapids and the surrounding area.  A secondary objective is to provide safe high quality facilities.

 

Services:

Rapids Area Soccer, Inc. is a volunteer based 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of several operating groups.  Each operating group holds voting seats on the board of directors.  The board of directors is responsible for raising capital funds, conducting capital projects, maintaining soccer facilities and facility scheduling.  Operating groups are: youth and adult recreational soccer; youth competitive soccer; parochial and public school soccer at junior/senior high schools; and Hmong recreational soccer.  Recreational and competitive soccer groups provide training for players, coaches and referees.  Recreational soccer has seasons in spring and fall.  The goal is to keep participation affordable.  Recreational players are charged approximately $15-$20 per season and competitive soccer players are charged approximately $135-$150 per season.  The amounts are subject to change.

Annual Events:

High school varsity girls’ soccer tournament in April

Regional competitive youth soccer tournament on second weekend of June

High school varsity and junior varsity boys’ soccer tournaments in September
