Mission:
The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
Services:
The Wood County Chapter of the American Red Cross provides relief to victims of disaster. This includes the basic needs of food, clothing and shelter. Red Cross is the only verifying agency for the military and the communications link between service members and their families in times of crisis.
