Community Foundation of Greater South Wood County is pleased to announce a grant program that will allow local educators to design new programs, projects, or events that strengthen relationships and build trust among stakeholder groups. This program is designed to enhance relationships and communication through effective teaching, learning, and special motivational activities.
Educators or teams of teachers in 4-year-old Kindergarten through Grade 12 in the following public and parochial school districts may apply for School Plus Grants in amounts up to $1,000: Nekoosa, Pittsville, Port Edwards, Wisconsin Rapids.
Students and community members cut the ribbon on the Grassy Waters Nature Preserve in Nekoosa. A School Plus Grant helped support this project.
