Dr. John and Germaine Thompson created the "Good Citizenship Award" Scholarship, to promote and recognize young people who exhibit the traits associated with good citizenship.

Thanks to the many generous donors who want to help support our young people in higher education, the Community Foundation administers over 80 different scholarship funds which vary by size, number of recipients, and complexity of criteria.  The generosity of donors is a wonderful example of how individuals can have a real and lasting impact in our community.
