Grants and Scholarships

In this section you will find valuable information about applying for Community Foundation grants and scholarships.

There are four categories of grants listed below.  Please click on each one to review grant guidelines and obtain the appropriate application form.

Grants from CF Community Grants Funds provide support to local nonprofit organizations and community groups involved in health and human services, education, arts and culture, community development, youth development, historic preservation, and recreation - to name just a few.

Grants from seven local Progress Funds provide support to residents or groups involved in unique community improvement projects consistent with the Community Progress Initiative.  Applications should be directed to your area's Progress Fund Committee, made up of local residents: Nekoosa Area, Pittsville Area, Port Edwards, Rome, Rudolph, Vesper Area, and Wisconsin Rapids Area.

School Plus grants provide support to teachers with innovative teaching projects in 4-year-old Kindergarten through Grade 12. 

Scholarships provide support to high school students seeking assistance for college tuition, high school tuition, and specific high school programs.  There are also scholarships for non-traditional students pursuing a college education, and scholarships for college students in their second year and higher.
