The Community Foundation preserves and protects your investments and charitable intentions forever. The unique power of endowments means that as your gifts grow, they continue to benefit the community now and in the future. In order to accomplish this, CFGSWC's endowed funds are pooled together and invested for the long-term. For a more thorough explanation, see our Investment Policy & Guidelines. | |

Due to the generosity of Virginia Brazeau and the Richard S. Brazeau Family Foundation, most of the administrative expenses of the Community Foundation have been underwritten with direct grant support since 1994. It was the intent of the Brazeau Family Foundation to support the asset growth of the CFGSWC to the extent that when an administrative fee would be assessed on all component funds beginning in 2002, the fee itself would be reasonable and provide for the ongoing support and growth of the Foundation. To that point, when determining a fair and equitable fee structure, the Board and Staff of CFGSWC studied the complexity of and support required by specific fund types.
The Community Foundation is committed to providing professional administration and investment oversight to all of our component funds—in perpetuity. To do so, we ask that you consider your administrative fee a direct investment in the future of our organization and its ability to have a positive impact in the South Wood County area.
